Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether her Department will make relevant (i) plans; and (ii) material, within consultations, available in Open Geographic Information Systems format, in addition to Portable Document Format, where appropriate.

Answer:

At present, the Department for Infrastructure uses the NI Government Citizen Space site for all online consultations. However, the platform currently does not allow for the hosting of geospatial consultations.

The Department continues to keep this area under review, including consideration of future platform enhancements and evolving best practice in digital consultation and data sharing, to determine whether broader support for geospatial consultation materials can be facilitated.
