Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any other traffic calming measures her Department is currently considering within Loughbrickland, in addition to the proposed pedestrian crossing.

Answer:
A pedestrian crossing assessment at Main Street, Loughbrickland was carried out in March 2026 and unfortunately the location did not meet the threshold for further consideration.
I can advise that officials are considering possible options to provide a pedestrian island as a safe crossing point on Main Street. If viable the scheme would improve road safety and act as a traffic calming feature.
