Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any steps his Department will take to support the National Literacy Trust’s goal to create the first ever Literacy Hub in Northern Ireland.

Answer:

I attended the Northern Ireland launch of the National Literacy Trust’s, National Year of Reading 2026, on 2 February in Parliament Buildings.

My officials continue to engage with the National Literacy Trust as it explores projects for Northern Ireland, including on plans to establish a Literacy Hub.
