To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 35522/22-27, for an update on the development of an outcomes dashboard for the Special Educational Needs Disability Reform Agenda.

Answer:

Ahead of the development of an outcomes dashboard, it is necessary to identify and source the data required to populate that dashboard. This work is currently underway.

My department is undertaking a review of potential existing data sources for the indicators in the SEN Reform Agenda Outcomes Framework. In parallel, surveys have been issued to parents and schools to gather data for indicators with no pre-existing data available.

Upon completion, all available data will be compiled and a dashboard designed for publication. We anticipate this work will complete during 2026/27.
