To ask the Minister for Communities, pursuant to commitments made in the Department of Finance Memorandum on the Twelfth Report from the Public Accounts Committee Mandate 2022-2027: Homelessness in Northern Ireland, whether he has been able to identify and allocate additional resources for the development of a paper outlining options for legislative change to homelessness legislation.

Answer:

Given the importance of this work, the resources will be allocated. My officials are working with urgency to ensure my Department can deliver on the commitment made in the Memorandum of Reply to this Public Accounts Committee recommendation.
