Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any assessments that have been carried out on the level of traffic travelling on Moira High Street and the impact this has on the road surface.

Answer:

Officials are currently considering the 2026/27 programme of works, the details of which will be included in my Department’s 2026/27 Annual Report to Council. Programmes cannot be finalised until such times as budgets are confirmed.

There have been no recent specific traffic volume assessments undertaken on Moira High Street however, officials continue to undertake regular inspections and repair defects in accordance with the Department’s Limited Service policy.
