To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail any steps her Department is taking to encourage local enterprise in repair, resale and reuse markets.

Answer:

I refer the Member to my response to AQW 47971/22/-27.

My department is also currently in the process of finalising the Circular Economy Strategy, which recognises the importance of the repair, resale and reuse markets in transitioning to a more circular economy. I plan to bring to the draft Circular Economy Strategy to the Executive for approval in due course.
