To ask the Minister of Health to detail the amount of funding that has been distributed by the Education Commissioning Group for allied health professionals, in each year since 2020.
Answer:
Since the roll‑out of the encompass, incidents of unauthorised access to patient records by staff have been recorded and managed by individual Health and Social Care Trusts in line with established information governance procedures, including, where appropriate, notification to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The position by Trust is as follows: South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust: 9 incidents of unauthorised access by staff in 2024/25 and fewer than 5 incidents in 2025/26, since go‑live of encompass in November 2023. Belfast Health and Social Care Trust: 16 incidents of unauthorised access by staff since go‑live of encompass in June 2024. Northern Health and Social Care Trust: 8 incidents of unauthorised access by staff since go‑live of encompass in November 2024. Western Health and Social Care Trust: 2 incidents of unauthorised access by staff since go‑live of encompass in May 2025. Southern Health and Social Care Trust: fewer than 5 incidents of unauthorised access by staff since go‑live of encompass in May 2025.
