To ask the Minister for Communities whether he plans to make all the details of records that are listed on PRONI’s eCatalogue available in full in a downloadable tabular format.

Answer:

My Department has no plans to make the contents of PRONI’s eCatalogue available in such a way that it can be downloaded in a tabular format.

This proposed work would incur prohibitive costs.

It should be noted that PRONI’s existing online ‘eCatalogue’ is a fully searchable database containing over 1.5 million catalogue entries for records in PRONI’s archival holdings and is freely available via the PRONI website.
