To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister whether their Department takes any action when a category drops to worsening on the Programme for Government Wellbeing Framework.

Answer:

The Wellbeing Framework, published alongside the Programme for Government (PfG) 2024-2027, provides an evidence-based overview of long-term wellbeing trends in Northern Ireland, based on official statistics and is designed to support the understanding of trends. Where indicators show a worsening position, consideration is given to the underlying drivers of those trends as part of wider policy development and Programme for Government delivery.
