Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on (i) the action contained within his TransformED Delivery plan to pilot investment in supporting groups of schools to create or further embed collaborative professional learning communities working with the research community; and (ii) any cost incurred as a result of this action.

Answer:

My Department will be issuing a call for expressions of interest in a pilot Collaborative Professional Learning Clusters programme early in the next academic year. This programme aims to support clusters of educators in designing and delivering structured professional learning that enhances teaching practice, promotes innovation and improves learner outcomes.

No costs have been incurred to date.
