Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the budget being allocated to recipients of the Annual Funding Programme 2026/27 grants via the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

Answer:

The Arts Council have advised me that the interim letters of offer issued on 30 April 2026 committed funding of £3,482,613 in support of 85 organisations, covering the period April – June. As the Executive has yet to agree a budget, it has not been possible for me at this stage to provide funding to the Arts Council for the full year.
