Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether his Department has any plans to publish an update report on the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Strategy Action Plan Year 1-3.

Answer:

In September 2025, the Justice Minister and I issued a letter to the Executive, providing a progress update on delivery during the first six months of the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Strategy 2024 – 2031. A further update to the Executive is planned for autumn 2026.

My Department, in partnership with the Department of Justice, continues to progress implementation of the Action Plan. In line with the commitments set out in Strategy, an independent review of the first three years of implementation will be commissioned in Year 4. This review will provide a detailed assessment of progress across all actions and help inform delivery during the remainder of the Strategy period.
