Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail how his Department monitors and evaluates progress of the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Strategy Action Plan Year 1-3.

Answer:

My Department, in partnership with the Department of Justice, monitors progress of the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Strategy 2024–2031 through established governance arrangements and a supporting performance framework.

Updates on actions are presented to the Strategic Oversight Board on a quarterly basis, enabling regular review of progress.

The Performance Framework has been developed to support delivery of the Strategy and the associated Action Plan and includes indicators to monitor progress and assess impact.

A formal evaluation will be commissioned in Year 4 to evaluate progress against the Year 1-3 Action Plan.
