Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether his Department has commenced the development of a training programme on child to parent violence for frontline workers in Health and Social Care Trusts.

Answer:

In response to the recommendations of the “Ellen” Domestic Homicide Review, officials from my Department have commissioned a scoping review, which will be carried out by Queen’s University Belfast. This review will inform the development of a training programme, by considering the relevant up-to-date research and current gaps in practice.
