To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the amount of public money spent to date on the planned USA 250 concert at Belfast City Hall, broken down by (i) his Department's funding; (ii) Ulster-Scots Agency expenditure; (iii) Belfast City Council support; and (iv) any other public funding.

Answer:

The level of unrecoverable public expenditure associated with the planned concert cannot be determined at this stage. Discussions are ongoing to establish the reasonable preliminary costs incurred during the planning of the event.

Any funding or support provided by Belfast City Council, or any other public sector organisations, is a matter for those bodies.
