To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) any appointment process for the consultant undertaking the review of school behaviour policy; (ii) any amount paid for this work; and (iii) any agreed outcomes.

Answer:

The consultant was appointed via a Direct Award Contract (DAC).

(ii) No payments have yet been made.

(iii) The agreed outcomes of the work include:

Delivery of an evidenceinformed review of current policy and practice, including stakeholder engagement and school visits;

The development of a Departmental Behaviour Policy Statement setting out strategic direction; and

The production of updated behaviour guidance for schools.
