Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether the special educational needs helpline will remain open during July and August 2026.

Answer:

The Education Authority (EA) have advised that the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Helpline, SEND Central will remain operational throughout July and August 2026.

The helpline will continue to provide support to parents, carers, and stakeholders during standard operating hours, which are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (excluding public holidays).
