To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail any ongoing work in relation to pay awards for lecturers at further education colleges.

Answer:

Further Education (FE) colleges, as employers, are responsible for terms and conditions, including pay awards for their lecturers. The most recent pay settlement that I agreed was for 2024/25 and 2025/26, which has been implemented by the colleges. The colleges, through the established sectoral arrangements, are continuing to progress work on future pay awards for FE lecturers and other college staff.
