Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 46567/22-27, to detail (i) whether he has now received an initial report from the Chief Medical Officer's Task and Finish Group; and (ii) whether he will place a copy of the report in the Assembly library.

Answer:

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) has provided me with an update on the work of the Task and Finish Group. The Group is continuing its work to further consider options to expedite the extension of the bowel cancer screening programme this year.

CMO is working with policy and commissioner colleagues to seek to advance this work. His final report will be published.
