Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail when the review of the policy framework for Community Asset Transfers will be published.

Answer:

A review of the policy framework for Community Asset Transfer is not being taken forward at this time. My Department is instead undertaking a technical evaluation of the wider Community Asset Transfer landscape to identify opportunities to improve its effectiveness.

This is an internal evaluation rather than a review of the policy framework and a stakeholder reference group chaired by Development Trusts NI and comprising representatives from across the public and Voluntary and Community Sector has informed the evaluation throughout.

The evaluation remains ongoing, and my Department will consider the findings and determine the appropriate next steps once it has concluded.
