To ask the Minister of Education to detail the number of requests, made by (i) schools; and (ii) special educational needs coordinators, for face-to-face training with Local Impact Teams were accepted between September 2025 and June 2026.

The Education Authority (EA) has advised that Local IMPACT Team Requests for Training (RFT) are:

The Request for Involvement (RFI) licence is held by the school and assigned to the relevant user, typically the Special Educational Needs Coordinator. Requests are therefore submitted by the individual to whom the licence is assigned.

In general, training requests were not approved where the training was already available through the School Development Service Portal or where similar training was provided by another EA service.
