Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether the £1.839 million annual funding allocated to deliver the Regional Insulin Pump Service will be provided annually.

Answer:

The £1.839 million secured to support the implementation of Hybrid Closed Loop technology through the Regional Insulin Pump Service is recurrent funding and will therefore be provided annually.

The funding will support the cost of the technology and the additional regional workforce required to deliver it safely, effectively and equitably across Northern Ireland.
