Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any steps he is taking to provide greater long-term funding certainty for voluntary and community organisations.

Answer:

To alleviate some of the immediate pressures that organisations are facing, I approved a decision that my Department cover the three-month period up to 30 June 2026 and subsequently approved a further three-month period up to 30 September 2026, with both allocations based on the opening 2025-26 allocation.

In the absence of an agreed Executive budget no commitment can be made to any future funding or amounts.
