Question:
To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the new build for Priory Integrated College, Holywood.

Answer:

I announced on 29 April 2026 that the Priory Integrated College major capital project was to proceed to construction.

Since that announcement a Business Case Addendum has been completed which is currently under review by the Department of Finance.

The second stage of the procurement process to appoint a building contractor has also been progressed, and the current return date for tenders is 23 October 2026.

It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in the first quarter of 2027.

The construction period is expected to be approximately 30 months.
