To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the delivery of the Cancer Strategy for Northern Ireland 2022-2032.

Answer:

The Cancer Strategy Progress Report, published on 2 July 2026, provides a comprehensive assessment of implementation during the Strategy's first four years, and progress against each of the 60 actions. The progress report is available at:

Despite the current financial constraints that my Department is operating under, good progress has been made on the delivery of the Strategy’s 60 actions. Substantial and sustained additional investment is however required to enable full implementation of the Strategy.
