To ask the Minister for Communities to detail (i) the level of funding sought by the Housing Executive for the Supporting People Programme; and (ii) the level of funding allocated, in each of the last five years.

The 2022/23 figure excludes £546k of SP COVID-19 funding. This funding was provided separately by the Department specifically to support COVID-related expenditure and did not form part of the programme’s normal funding allocation.
The funding allocated for the 2022/23 – 2025/26 period represents the final allocation in that year at the year-end position.
