To ask the Minister of Health to detail the number of patients who have travelled to Great Britain for CAR-T therapy, in the last five years.

Answer:

Between 1 April 2021 and 31 March 2026, 84 patients from Northern Ireland were approved to receive chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy in Great Britain. However, some patients may not have proceeded to treatment following approval for clinical reasons.
