Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety how many Health and Social Care Trusts provide secondary and tertiary fertility services; and, of those, how many have a fertility nurse advisor working in the Trust area.

Answer:
All Trusts provide secondary level fertility services. Tertiary level services for Northern Ireland are provided by the Belfast Trust at the Regional Fertility Centre.
All Trusts have been provided with funding for part time fertility nurse advisors as an integral part of their fertility treatment service provision. Two Trusts have the enhanced service in place. The other three are in the process of introducing it.
