Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety to outline the reasons for the rejection of the proposal to close Windsor House.

Answer:

The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust’s Board did approve the proposal to close Windsor House, however, it took the view that the unit should not close until building commenced on the new inpatient unit. Consultation on the proposed location for the new inpatient unit is currently underway.
