Motion TitleFlexible Working Rights

Motion TextThat this Assembly recognises the importance of flexible working to the Northern Ireland economy; acknowledges that the lengthy and cumbersome process involved in applying for flexible working is limiting our economic potential; further recognises that without flexible working those who are caring for children or with other caring responsibilities may be prevented from participating fully in our economy; and recognises that requesting flexible working should be a day one right for employees as part of building a more inclusive and productive local economy.
