Motion TitleLough Neagh Rescue Plan - Amendment 3

Motion Amendment TextLeave out all after ‘beaches’ and insert: ‘accepts and regrets the role that successive Executives and Agriculture Ministers have played in failing to mitigate the crisis; declares an ecological emergency on Lough Neagh and; calls on the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to work with his Executive colleagues to put in place a new management structure based on public ownership and a plan to include input from communities and organisations with an interest in the welfare of the Lough, so that it can be managed, protected and promoted in the interest of all.’
