Motion Amendment TextLeave out all after ‘financial support for foster/kinship foster carers’ and insert: ‘, including a sufficient uplift in foster care allowances, in order to cover the costs of caring for children and young people; agrees that this is another important illustration of the necessity to provide the Department of Health with an appropriate funding settlement within the upcoming 2024-25 budget; and calls on the Minister of Health to launch a new, ambitious and fully resourced recruitment programme.’
