‘commends the work of Northern Ireland’s Criminal Justice Inspectorate and notes with concern its 2024 report Transforming the Criminal Justice System in Northern Ireland A Strategic Overview; further notes that, fifteen years on from the devolution of policing and justice, progress in delivering reform has been limited, with no collectively agreed vision or strategic priorities to drive system-wide improvement; calls for a renewed, coordinated approach to reform across the justice sector; and further calls on the Minister of Justice to outline the actions taken since the Criminal Justice Inspectorate’s report was laid before the Assembly in November 2024 and how she intends to address the report’s recommendations.’
