Motion TitleRural Transport Needs

Motion TextThat this Assembly recognises the valuable contribution the Community Transport Association provides to the rural population, particularly to people with disabilities; acknowledges the desirability of enabling volunteers to provide much needed access to community and public services; and calls on the Minister for Infrastructure to investigate, by the end of the 2025-26 Assembly session, the potential to amend vehicle and driver licensing rules to replicate those applying in the rest of the UK.
