Motion Amendment TextLeave out all after 'equality of opportunity for all children;’ and insert: ‘further calls on the Minister to commit to phasing out grammar schools, in recognition of their role in entrenching and perpetuating educational inequality; and calls on the Minister to tackle educational underachievement and close the attainment gap, particularly for children from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds.’
