All-Party Group on Domestic and Sexual Violence

Purpose: • To ensure that the issues affecting victims of domestic violence are high on the agenda for the Northern Ireland Assembly prioritising Assembly policies and focus enabling Northern Ireland to respond effectively to victims and challenge perpetrators. • To encourage debate and engage discussion with relevant agencies and organisations and MLAs • To raise awareness about the issue and prevalence of domestic violence in our society and the cost to the public purse
