‘that the United Kingdom has left the European Union; further acknowledges that the Withdrawal Agreement and the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland have created uncertainty; acknowledges that the creation of a regulatory border between Great Britain and Northern Ireland undermines fundamentally the Belfast Agreement; believes it is unacceptable that uncertainty remains for businesses and consumers in Northern Ireland; and calls on the UK Government and European Union to uphold their commitment to protect the Belfast Agreement in all its parts by ensuring there are no barriers to trade between Great Britain and Northern Ireland or on the island of Ireland.’

‘further believes that the UK Government’s refusal to undertake formally to adhere to the European Convention on Human Rights represents a repudiation of fundamental rights provisions in the Good Friday Agreement; further acknowledges that the protection of human rights and equality provisions, predicated on the European Convention on Human Rights, is one of the key principles underpinning the Good Friday Agreement; and considers any plans by the UK Government to resile from all or some of the convention an unacceptable breach of its treaty obligations’
