All-Party Group on Stroke

Purpose: To raise and maintain awareness in the Assembly of stroke and stroke care in Northern Ireland including; to further understanding of what stroke is and the impact stroke has, to discuss and address pertinent issues in the prevention, treatment and care of stroke, to inform and monitor progress on the transformation of care for stroke patients in Northern Ireland, to advocate for policies and strategies that deliver sustainable, appropriate, innovative stroke care, and to provide a platform for MLAs, charities and the stroke community to effectively work together.
