All-Party Group on Rare Disease

Purpose: To ensure that MLAs can provide informed interest on issues affecting people living with rare conditions across NI (over 120,000 individuals, 1 in 17 of the population). Issues are not simply health related but reflect the totality of life experience, therefore informed cross departmental discussion is important. MLAs have a significant role to play in improving the experience of this community.
