15-24 March 2023: I, alongside other MLAs, visited Washington DC and Alabama to participate in the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) exchange programme. The US State Department contributed approximately £3,557 towards accommodation and hospitality costs, with the Northern Ireland Assembly meeting the remainder (approximately £1,330) of the total costs of approximately £4,887.
