To ask the Minister for the Economy, pursuant to AQW 33821/22-27, to detail (i) the rationale for her direction to Invest NI when, our nation, which retains competency in accordance with the Northern Ireland Act 1998 for foreign policy, defence and international trade, has concluded that Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza, according to the letter from the Foreign Secretary to the Chair of the UK Parliament’s International Development Committee on 1 September 2025, and thereby giving de jure recognition of UK law and policy; (ii) the legal grounds she has for not complying with the UK Government direction on this matter, given UK legal primacy; and (iii) whether she has received permission from the Attorney General to breach 2.4(v) of the Ministerial Code in making this unilateral decision, without prior agreement.

To ask the Minister for the Economy, following her Written Ministerial Statement on the Invest NI Review of Investments on 16 October 2025, (i) to detail the rationale for instructing her Department to break (a) Annex 2 of the Northern Ireland Protocol, namely Regulation (EU) 2015/479; Regulation (EU) 2015/936; Obligations stemming from the international agreements concluded by the Union; and (b) the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement, establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the State of Israel; and (ii) to detail the rational for not abiding by Annex 2 of the Northern Ireland Protocol, regarding regulations on bilateral safeguards, Regulation (EU) No 654/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 concerning the exercise of the Union's rights for the application and enforcement of international trade rules and amending Council Regulation (EC) No 3286/94 laying down Community procedures in the field of the common commercial policy in order to ensure the exercise of the Community's rights under international trade rules, in particular those established under the auspices of the World Trade Organisation.

To ask the Minister for Infrastructure (i) whether she will engage with Translink Senior Management regarding the consultations Translink had with Ballyclare High School leadership and the PSNI Road Policing Unit, in respect of its new bus arrangements, that have led to 300 pupils, having to walk along narrow pavements and poorly lit roads; (ii) for her assessment of Translink's risk register on these new arrangements, with its enhanced challenges to pupils, especially in light of the forthcoming winter conditions, including non-gritted pavements; and (iii) to detail who is responsible within Translink, in the event of any child safeguarding incident, caused by its decision.
