15-19 March 2023: I, along with other MLAs, visited Washington DC to participate in a programme run by the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL). The purpose of the visit was to build relationships and knowledge between Northern Ireland political representatives and a range of political, civic and business leaders in the United States of America, particularly in Washington DC. Accommodation and travel costs were met by ACYPL and the Northern Ireland Assembly, to the totals of £1507.15 and £1825.27, respectively. (Registered 29 June 2023)
